Denim washing powder

There it was: the story that confused us for a moment. Me and my brother never washed a single piece of raw denim before at least two years of wearing. This goes for René as well. It was just not done treating your denim in such a way. Washing powder was associated with bleaching and bleaching is something forbidden for a jeans maniac. Than somehow there is a guy standing in your doorway telling you that your ideas are not (completely) true. It seems that a proper peace of denim is better off washing it since the cotton fabric needs to be cleaned in order to get all your chemicals and sweat out. Secondly the cotton fabric needs water to stay strong. Above all, a true piece of Japanese denim will only fade where it should be fading: at the places it touches your body. On top of everything our friend Katsu brought us the ultimate washing stuff for your raw denim. This is crazy you might think, but wait untill you see the picture. We're not convinced yet, but that might me coming later! TBC...

Thanx for replying back. in which ways does it care for denim? does it prevent the fabric from thining out? also do you use it as a detergent?
