Santa Maria Novella

Today our friend Jurriaan from Blend Magazine came in with a big smile on his face and smelling like a sweet Sunday afternoon in Firenze, Italy. He was just returned from a lovely weekend in Antwerp where he ran into this beautiful little shop: Santa Maria Novella. The company perpetuates and renews ancient traditions of herbal care, once developed by their grand parents. All the herbs used in the perfumes, soaps and shampoos are grown in the hills around Florence. Each Officina Profuma Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella (...) product tells a story. For example, the precious Acque della Regina perfume was originally made for Catrina de'Medici, the Queen of France, who made it popular in France around 1725. Look, we know authenticity is hot at the moment, but can anybody beat this family? Right, we don't think so.. Fantastic!! Thanks Jur
