What happened to advertising?

What happened on the way to heaven in advertising? When did someone decide the example from above would not be suitable for denim promotion anymore? Or do we like this look and feel better? Shall we just say that we'll take it back to the original from here again from now on?
From now on we'll just focus on quality again and emphasize product benefits in advertisement. Read: "The only cowboy pants with all these features". We love it.
