Today in The Netherlands we celebrate the liberation of our country in 1945. The image above refers to the book 'The Girl With The Red Hear' by Theun de Vries, from 1977. It is the story of a normal Dutch girl that secretly bonds with the underground resistance against the Nazi's and specializes in liquidating traitors. We would like to take this day and this book in particular to honor the brave men and women that fought for our freedom during WW2. Let us remind ourselves more frequently that freedom is our greatest good.
