The beauty of vintage watches is that each timepiece tells a unique story. By the way the watch aged you can tell if the previous owner treated it well, what kind of job he or she may have had and if they were really in love with it. Sometimes you will face very personal details like the inscription on the back of the vintage Omega watch above. With such inscriptions, wearing a vintage piece can almost feel like cheating. That feeling is often the result of being unable to determine for what occasion the watch was presented to somebody. On top of that you can only take a guess at why somebody would let go of their personal treasure.
The vintage Omega watch as shown above was for sale on Ebay and caught my eye because of the beautiful calligraphy that was used to immortalize the former owner 40 years ago.
